A slang way of demanding to be heard in Proteño Spanish, here at "Cuchame" we want to raise our voices, tell our stories, and help others to share theirs.

Formerly known as Argentinian Theatre Laboratory, this company was created in 2016 with the intention to work as a theatrical bridge between Argentina and the world, by sharing original theatre projects, helping their adaptation to the English language, and also by bringing plays from all around the world to Argentina, and adapting them to the Spanish language.

This young company had the opportunity to perform at the Argentinian Consulate in New York to present their first project “La herencia” (The heritage) with the presence of the playwright Maria Romano to kick start our project.

Cuchame Theatre Co. keeps involved in the research of Argentinian plays by doing frequent readings and analyzing their possibilities for future projects. We would like to be a facilitator for Argentinian playwrights to have an adaptation to the English language and have the possibility to let their voices and messages be shared with the whole world.

As for Argentina, Cuchame Theatre Co. had the opportunity to bring the musical [Title of Show] with an original adaptation to the Argentinian culture, that counted with the involvement of a lot of regional celebrities that had a participation in the show.

We are a group of Argentinean artists, some based in Buenos Aires, some based in New York City, with one goal: to build an artistic bridge between these two geographical points.

We believe in the chance of building our own work, as well as creating the platform for an exchange of breakthrough plays between Argentina and the United States.

We trust our extraordinary abilities to facilitate the spreading and expanding of shows outside the limits of a country.

We thrive to generate opportunities for artists locally and internationally, and give them the chance to travel the world with their work.
